Carbon and pollutant transmedia processes and ecological environmental effects, including:
1. Surface-air exchange observation and simulation of atmospheric pollutants and greenhouse gases
2. Quantification of multi-element biogeochemical cycle processes such as carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur
3. Assessment of ecological and environmental effects of atmospheric sulfur and nitrogen deposition
